The Faculty of Engineering is committed to producing competent, innovative, and ethical engineers through quality teaching, practical training, research, and technological advancement. The faculty equips students with the knowledge and technical skills required to develop sustainable solutions to engineering challenges and contribute to national and global development.
The Department of Civil Engineering focuses on the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, airports, and water supply systems. Students gain practical and theoretical knowledge in structural, transportation, geotechnical, and environmental engineering.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering prepares students to design, manufacture, operate, and maintain machines and mechanical systems. Areas of study include thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, manufacturing technology, machine design, robotics, and renewable energy.
This department provides education in the generation, transmission, distribution, and application of electrical power, as well as electronics, telecommunications, automation, and control systems. Graduates are equipped to solve modern electrical and electronic engineering challenges.
The Department of Computer Engineering combines computer science and electrical engineering to develop computer hardware and software systems. Students study programming, computer architecture, embedded systems, networking, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
